Because of Amazon's silly policies limiting how many free ebooks I can give away each month, I'm going to have to skip today's ebook list. Sad, I know. I'll still post this ONE though (because it is mine and doesn't have any reviews yet at time of posting yet, so it needs all the help it can get):
In other exciting news, I was on the news this weekend! This segment first aired Friday evening, but was rebroadcast this morning. While Double Up Food Bucks is apparently only in Michigan, many individual markets around the country have similar programs, so if you are on SNAP, contact your local markets and ask! If they don't have program like this yet, suggest it. Also, contact your Representatives and Senators and let them know that you'd like to see a program like this in your state as well. I know for my family, it has been a life-saver because my garden has been fairly pathetic this year, with the new soil that needed more amendments than I had the resources to pour into it this spring plus the unusually cold weather!
